Fall plans
So we're running headlong into September. Time to crank up the church programs; round up the volunteers; and next thing you know rehearsals for the Christmas services and programs will begin.

We have the opportunity to be launching a brand new web site this fall. We're seeing it not just (or even primarily) as an information-sharing site. The site will be very intentionally built to help people connect with each other - blogs, events, calendars, groups, podcasts, discipleship tools, etc. all will be part of the site. As well, we'll tap into Facebook and Twitter to help supplement.
One of our foci this year as a congregation will be community building, both offline and online - the same strategies in both "worlds" - we want to build community with one another and beyond our proverbial and physical walls. And social media tools will be a big part of that.
